The Feldenkrais Method helps you to notice things about the way you are moving through your life and utilise your human capacity to learn. In the group lessons, you will be guided through some very specific movement explorations which can help you to develop your ability to move and act more efficiently and elegantly, recalibrating neuromuscular patterns and adaptations.

Lengthening your Back and Neck (webinar)
In the closed focus of daily tasks, it is easy to lose awareness and not notice when you are holding your breath, sitting in a cramped or unbalanced position, or using unnecessary effort just to stay upright… Tension in the lower back, along the strong spinal muscles, in the trapezius, the neck and the jaw result.
Developing your sense of how to support yourself dynamically, distribute your weight over the supporting surface, and allow subtle movements which transmit forces through your structure rather than allowing them to “collect” immediately removes the need for all that effort.
Finding length for your back and neck also frees up your diaphragm, enables you to turn easily around yourself and to work for long hours at your desk without undue strain.
