Working as a Feldenkrais practitioner

By choosing to enroll on the Feldenkrais Method professional training program, you are choosing to jump into a journey filled with curiosity, experimentation, discovery and learning that will last your lifetime.

As a Feldenkrais practitioner you will acquire a full range of possibilities that will keep you professionally growing. Given the fact that we never work with ready-made-solutions but instead with flexible concepts, Feldenkrais teachers enjoy the freedom to apply the method in their line of work.
Due to the fact that Feldenkrais teachers avoid pre-designed solutions or work schemes, they always design their own way of working through complex matters, designing solutions according to the specific needs at a specific moment and always looking to create innovative alternatives. Feldenkrais teachers trace their own maps, in other words, they are able to reach out to each individual client, with his/her own needs at a precise time, allowing the client to change habits, evolve, improve and widen their actions.

Complex situations require extraordinary solutions. This is one of the many reasons why being a Feldenkrais teacher is always challenging and motivating, being an on-going learning experience.

Depending on your profession and according to your interests and your previous experience, both personally and professionally, you will be able to apply and benefit from the method. Just to mention a few examples, there are colleagues that run their own Naturopathy office and introduce the Feldenkrais Method in their work in order to emphasise movement; Tango teachers who wish to awaken and develop a new sense of awareness in their student’s dancing; school teachers who wish to motivate and stimulate the children’s learning through motor movement; personal trainers introduce the method in Management trainings and workshops.

A Feldenkrais teacher can work in many different fields. Your line of work can range from teaching private lessons, group classes or both, working from your own office, studios, centers, schools or clinics.
