Administrative Director
Valentina Grassi
Valentina Grassi Concha is a somatic educator, dancer, singer, and dance therapist. She graduated from the Feldenkrais Method Professional Training MADRID 4 in 2021.
Since then, she has worked in Chile as a teacher and facilitator of somatic practices, building a sustained professional practice at the intersection of the Feldenkrais Method, the arts, education, and integrative health. Her work incorporates somatic exploration, dance, improvisation, and voice as territories of inquiry, learning, and creative expression.
She is the creator of Exploraciones Sensibles (Sensitive Explorations), a practice-research project in which she approaches the Feldenkrais Method as a gateway to experiences of movement, embodied anatomy, improvisation, dance, and sonic expression. Designed for diverse audiences, it has been developed in educational, cultural, and artistic contexts, and has been presented at cultural venues, training programs, and dance festivals throughout Chile.
She has complemented her training with studies in trauma-sensitive approaches, neuroscience, contemporary pain science, emotional education, Tai Chi Kong, somatic vocal exploration, and dance improvisation, integrating these bodies of knowledge into her teaching practice and somatic accompaniment work.
Over the past four years, she has independently managed her professional teaching practice, coordinating workshops, training cycles, retreats, and individual accompaniment processes, gaining experience in planning, production, communication, and project management in the context of the Feldenkrais Method.
Throughout this journey, she collaborated closely with Patricio Simon and the Feldenkrais Institute during her training process. Building on that experience, she now takes on the role of Administrative Director of the Feldenkrais Method Professional Training in Chile, bringing an integrative perspective that connects management, pedagogy, and the care of educational processes.
