Scott Clark

London, Great Britain - Trainer since 2016

Originally from New Mexico, Scott trained as a dancer after taking a BSc in mathematics. During an extensive career as a performer and dance teacher, he investigated many of the physical disciplines used by dancers to augment their training. This led him to the work of Moshe Feldenkrais, which he began studying in 1982, and he enrolled in the first London Feldenkrais Professional Training Programme, from which he graduated in 1990.

Since 1997 Scott has devoted his teaching entirely to Feldenkrais, working with individuals from all walks of life and with groups of the public from Finland to Ecuador. He also teaches in professional training programmes, and has organised two trainings in London. He has a special interest in working with performing artists, from dancers to actors to musicians. As an amateur, he plays the viola da gamba.
