Asha Leitner
Berlin, Germany — Assistant Trainer since 2023
Asha is a former performer and choreographer with roots in Poland. She holds a degree in Theater from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and has extensive training in pantomime, modern dance, and physical theater, bringing a unique blend of movement expertise and creative teaching to her work.
Asha began her Feldenkrais journey in 2002 under the guidance of David Zemach-Bersin, graduated from NY1 in 2006. She later collaborated with Sheryl Field to co-found the Supervision Clinic at the Feldenkrais Institute in NYC, focusing on working with children with disabilities.
In 2007, she became a certified Anat Baniel Method® (ABM) for Children practitioner and worked with both children and adults in the New York City area. After relocating to Europe, she studied the Jeremy Krauss Approach (JKA), graduating in 2019.
Now based in Berlin, Germany, Asha runs a private practice specializing in work with children and adults. She also teaches group classes and workshops, and travels internationally to support clients facing a wide range of challenges.
Since 2023, Asha has worked as an Assistant Trainer in Berlin, Prague, and Moscow.
She has practiced Aikido for over two decades and is fluent in English, Polish, and Spanish, with proficiency in German and Russian.
