Administrative Director Russia
Maria Lovyagina
A telecommunications engineer and entrepreneur, Maria became acquainted with the Feldenkrais Method when her life changed dramatically following the birth of her eldest son, who had developmental differences, and her subsequent search for rehabilitation methods for him. Shortly after her first encounter with the Method, while organizing classes for children and seminars for the general public and participating in these events, Maria discovered the beneficial effect that Feldenkrais has not only on children with developmental disabilities, but also on their parents and the family system as a whole. Maria was impressed by such an effective and comprehensive impact, as she had always been inclined to seek efficiency and optimization. This awakened even greater curiosity about the Method and a desire to introduce it to as many people as possible who needed change in their lives.
A few years later, she and a team of like-minded people began organizing professional training programs on the Feldenkrais Method in Russia.
She has an additional JKA parent certification and studied with Jeremy Krauss in Bavaria. She is a graduate of the Moscow-1 professional training program for Feldenkrais practitioners (2019-2024).
